How an MBR plant works.

Biological treatment

Biological treatment reduces the biodegradable load of the wastewater. Pretreatment and operating conditions are defined according to the wastewater characteristics.

Membrane separation

The membranes separate the biomass from the treated water. Any subsequent polishing stages are defined according to the intended discharge or reuse of the effluent.
