Data, purposes and legal bases

If you use the contact form, email or call us, we process the data you choose to provide (such as your name, company, contact details, plant location and request) to reply and manage any pre-contractual or contractual relationship. The legal basis is taking steps at your request or performing a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Providing data is optional, but we cannot reply without the necessary contact details.

During browsing, technical data needed to deliver and secure the service may be processed, such as IP address, date, time and requested page. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing and protecting the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The contact form forwards your request to Sereco by email; it does not store responses in a website database. The site uses no analytics, embedded maps or profiling tools.

Recipients and retention

Data may be accessed by authorised staff and providers strictly needed for hosting and email, according to their privacy roles. We keep enquiries for the time needed to handle them and, if a relationship begins, for the periods applicable to that relationship and legal duties. Technical data are kept only as needed for operation and security, according to the provider configuration. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area requires GDPR safeguards.

Rights and complaints

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing where the GDPR provides, by contacting the controller. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
